What’s the Buzz

There's been a lot of news thrown at us in a short amount of time this past week, and I want everyone to know that the DPAC is here available for any questions or concerns you may have; or even if you just want someone to talk to.

 

You should have all received copies of the letter from Superintendent Angus Wilson updated on the current status of SD75.  If you did not, you can find it here.

 

All DPAC activity is canceled or postponed until further notice.  If you have tickets to our Ted Leavitt event, keep them as it will be rescheduled at a later date.  

 

Please stay home and take care of yourselves and your families.

2020 Diversity in Mathematics: High School Online Math Camp

Hosted by: the Pacific Institute of Mathematical Sciences at University of British Columbia (UBC).

 

Dates: August 4 (Tues) - August 14 (Fri)         

   

Students can choose either week, but its highly recommend to attend both weeks for maximum benefit.

Eligibility:

Canadian citizens or permanent residents who have completed BC Pre-calculus 10 (or higher) or an equivalent math course with the letter grade of at least a B.

 

The application deadline is July 10.

 

Accepted applicants will be contacted on or before July 17, via email which will provide further instruction on registration.

 

The registration fee is $20 for either week, and $35 for both weeks.
